How to Delete An Adsense Account

Adsense is an ad program from Google that webmasters can use to generate traffic and earn revenue. The program places ads on various properties all around the Internet. These ads are purchased by the website or company on the other end of the ad. Adsense account holders can place Adsense ads on websites with relevant content in hopes of generating click throughs to the websites advertised. If the ad is clicked, the website owner earns some revenue. Ads can also be purchased form Google with a set or unlimited budget to generate traffic to a specific website.

Deleting My Account: Step By Step

Deleting your Adsense account is not 100-percent possible. All Google accounts are linked to the same Google user name and password. We’ve found several pages on the web claiming that users could visit their Google account page and remove Adsense from there, but that is not the case. You can cancel your Adsense account from that page, but you will also be deleting all other services associated with your Google account, including Blogger, Gmail and more.

Google collects information from Adsense users for contact and verification purposes. If the user chooses to have Google Adsense checks sent in the mail, mailing address information is also collected. Google will collect bank account information if the user chooses to have Adsense payment directly deposited into the user’s bank account.
